About T In The Park

T in the Park is a main music festival that has been take place annually in Scotland since 1994. It is named after its major sponsor, the making company Tennents. It was at first take place at Strathclyde Park, but since 1997 has been held at a neglected airfield in Balado, in Perth and Kinross, Scotland. T in the Park was at first a two-day festival but since 2007 has held over three days, and set up in 2008 was the chance to improve a weekend camping ticket to allow camping access on the Thursday - the day before any musicians played. The festival is encouraged by Big Day Out. It helds on the same weekend as Oxegen in Ireland and shares a very alike line-up every year.

Include the major seven stages of music, there are big camping areas to cater for the popular of festival-goers who stay for the period of the event. There are also a variety of concession stalls and shops provided, as well as other attractions, such as a large funfair, complete with Big Wheel.
