Blink-182 for T In The Park festival 2011

Blink-182 are reportedly "in discussions" to play next year's T In The Park festival.

Although nothing is confirmed yet, according to Scottish red-top sources the band would be "honoured" to play the bash, which takes place at Balado on July 8-10, and neatly coincides with their previously announced UK arena tour. Foo Fighters have alrady been confirmed for a headline slot.

Purchasing tickets in this pre-sale means festival fans won't be hit by the VAT increase in the New Year or the rise in ticket prices for 2011. Foo Fighters who will headline at the festival are the only act confirmed so far.

Blink-182 perform act in T In The Park

At T In The Park Festival in Scotland, Blink-182 have been announced their second performing act for next summer and the dates between 8-10 July at Balado near Kinross .

T In The Park festival director Geoff Ellis said, "Blink-182 are renowned for their amazing live performances and fans are in for a real treat when they play T in the Park next year. This is the second world class band we've announced and there's plenty more to come. Watch this space."

Foo Fighters booked for 2011's T in the Park

It has been confirmed that Foo Fighters will play next year's T in the Park.

Organisers of the 2011 festival has announced the band are the first act.

Geoff Ellis, the brains behind the operation, had been particularly keen to bring the group to the event at Balado airfield near Kinross as in addition to being one of the world's largest draws, they are also one of his favourites.

"Once again we are proud to bring one of the world's biggest and most influential rock bands to Balado," he confirmed.

"As well as being a personal favourite and a band that T in the Park fans continually praise, Foo Fighters are one of the best festival headliners on the planet and I'm delighted we have them for T in the Park 2011."

Next year's T in the Park will be held from Friday 8th to Sunday 10th July, with a limited number of tickets available to fans from 09:00 GMT today (Thursday).
