According to organisers, tickets will available for sale on 2nd December at 9am.

An initial batch of tickets already sold, directly after this year's festival, which featured Beyonce, Coldplay and Foo Fighters.

The remaining tickets will go on next year's early general release.

Geoff Ellis, festival director, said: "Plans for 2012 are already well under way here and once again we are securing some of the finest acts on the planet to perform before the world's most passionate music fans.

"The time is now to secure tickets to the 2012 festival."

A festival-goer has been told that he put in danger during a set of fans waving a flare-up can be jailed by Deadmau5 at T in the Park in this year.

The court was told how members of security became aware of a flare in the crowd and then saw Woodward on another person's shoulders carrying it.

Mr Malpass added: "It was in a heavily congested area of the crowd. He was approximately 50 feet from the stage.

"It caused numerous persons directly in front of the accused to move away."

The court heard the incident had been recorded on CCTV and security staff entered the crowd and managed to trace Woodward.

Solicitor Billy Somerville, defending, said: "It is the type of flare which is used when persons are in distress at sea and can be purchased without any licence.

"He accepts he was there and someone, one of his friends, handed him the flare.

"It was lit for around three minutes - obviously if it was dropped there is a high temperature involved and people could be injured."

'Very frightening'

Sheriff Robert McCreadie said there was a wider issue of crowd control which had "potentially serious consequences".

"That was in the mind of the organisers when they explicitly banned the use of such items," he said.

"A crowd can be very frightening indeed if it moves in an unexpected way.

"It is not simply a stupid man holding up a flare in direct defiance of what he was told.

"It is an offence against public order and has reached the custodial threshold."

More than 70,000 music lovers on the weekend rock festival in 2011 is being run with some of the biggest names descended on the T in the Park.

“When we were backstage we got talking to the guys from Jimmy Eat World and we gave them a couple of CDs and they said that we were really good.

“It was good to get some feedback from some of the top boys.”

Always a mixed bag, T in the Park 2011 has a mighty line-up of acts of a certain vintage. 71-year-old silver fox Tom Jones musters Friday’s biggest sing-along with ‘Delilah’, whilst Debbie Harry’s cheekbones – and tongue – are still razor sharp at 66. Leading Blondie in platinum wig and white miniskirt, she’s everyone’s favourite tearaway punk of pensionable age.

9. Rivers Cuomo’s T spirit. Weezer’s geeky singer laughs in the face of the darkening clouds, wrapping himself in a bright yellow T poncho and immediately ingratiating himself with his dripping audience. That he followed the gesture with a solid set of the band’s hits and a sparkling cover of Radiohead’s ‘Paranoid Android’ is really just a bonus.

10. Spectacular stadium rock. While Coldplay struggled to lift Saturday night, seeming flat after the sparkling MRS Jay-Z, Foo Fighters show that nobody does expansive, air-punching outdoor live experiences like the Yanks. Thanks to the ever-grinning Dave Grohl, Sunday night is party night and the festival ends with a headbanging shot of pure adrenaline.

British Transport Police (BTP) warned that the music festival next weekend to visit the fans will have their alcohol confiscated.

British Transport Police Sergeant Stephen Todd said: "If you are using the train to travel to Perth please be aware that not all your fellow passengers are going to T in the Park.

Sergeant Todd added: "This is not about BTP wishing to dampen spirits but we must ensure that anyone travelling or working on the rail network on these days can do safely and without hindrance. The appropriate notice will be given by the train operator, ScotRail."

Finlay Barber 29-years-old appeared at Perth Sheriff Court on July 30 last year charged with rape and abduction with intent to rape.

He held no hearing and no evidence was given bail.

The 18-year-old alleged victim, a girl who claimed she was being raped in the festival at Balado in Kinross-shire in a van before it was drawn.

A Crown Office spokeswoman said on Wednesday: "The procurator fiscal in Perth received a report relating to Finlay Euan Barber in connection with an alleged incident occurring between July 11 and 12, 2010.

"As a result, proceedings were raised at Perth Sheriff Court and he appeared on petition on July 30, 2010 charged with rape and abduction. He made no plea or declaration and was released on bail.

"As with any case, the crown has an ongoing duty to keep cases under review. Following full and careful consideration of all of the facts and circumstances in the case, including the available evidence, Crown Counsel decided to discontinue those proceedings."

A WISHAW man arrested with cocaine at T In The Park is a festival manager when they turn their pockets out challenge was invaded.

Kevin Gallacher Reveller butted security guard after trying to leave was denied.

Rebecca Kynaston financial deployed Perth Sheriff Court on Wednesday said that about 4.45pm this incident was on July 10.

She explained that T In The Park staff apparently saw Gallacher with a controlled substance.

They approached and asked him to empty his pockets and warned the police to see if it will be called failed.

Mr Lilly, for Gallacher said he used alcohol and drugs on the day and that he spent a lot of money will attend this program. Fear being thrown out, they attacked him.

He added: “He accepts that his behaviour was as libelled. There is no explanation for it. It was wholly wrong and wholly unsatisfactory. He is remorseful for his behaviour.”

Mr Lilly added Gallacher was also on probation from Hamilton Sheriff Court and that was being processed in Perth monitored.

Sheriff Michael Fletcher heard Gallacher food aggression and occupation of the trial, admitted the charges.

Gallacher punishment, he told him that crime is made more serious because it was a public place and could have had serious consequences.

He said: “The court has to underline that drugs should not be at these types of events and people should not be going around assaulting people.”

T in the Park tickets are likely to be in high demand this year following the announcement of the impressive line-up for this year's festival.

Headlining the event are Coldplay, American rockers Foo Fighters and Sheffield indie band Arctic Monkeys.

They will be joined by a whole host of other acts across a wide range of musical genres.

Among those also taking to the stage this July will be Blink-182, The Script, Pulp, Brandon Flowers, Blondie, Tinie Tempah and Jessie J.

Although nothing is confirmed yet, according to Scottish red-top sources the band would be "honoured" to play the bash, which takes place at Balado on July 8-10, and neatly coincides with their previously announced UK arena tour. Foo Fighters have alrady been confirmed for a headline slot.

It has been confirmed that Foo Fighters will play next year's T in the Park.

Organisers of the 2011 festival has announced the band are the first act.

Geoff Ellis, the brains behind the operation, had been particularly keen to bring the group to the event at Balado airfield near Kinross as in addition to being one of the world's largest draws, they are also one of his favourites.

"Once again we are proud to bring one of the world's biggest and most influential rock bands to Balado," he confirmed.

"As well as being a personal favourite and a band that T in the Park fans continually praise, Foo Fighters are one of the best festival headliners on the planet and I'm delighted we have them for T in the Park 2011."

The Village of Tinley Park will sell $ 11,700,000 in bonds to help pay for three large projects - and it's not hitting the higher property taxes to help people.

Citing favorably low interest rates, the village Board Finance Committee unanimously approved a bond that pays $ 2 million for wastewater projects in the village of $ 5,200,000 new shares 80thAvenue Metra train station and towards the expansion of $ 4500000 Tinley Park Conference Centre.

Board, which met on Wednesday night, is expected to approve the bond issue in November, with bonds sold in December.

Trustee Michael Bettenhausen, chairman of the Finance Committee, said the time is right to sell the bonds, noting that lower interest rates that will leave the village annual cost of $ 801,000 to repay the debt.

"The debt-service obligations and the bond issue is not property owners," Bettenhausen said.

The village expects interest rates around 3 percent.

"When you think of borrowing $ 1 million and you only have to pay a $ 67,000 interest, this is outrageous," Bettenhausen said.

Rates are so attractive, the village is asking department chairs, are there other projects that require funding, Mayor Ed Zabrocki said.

"The timing is right," he said.

Financing the debt service for wastewater projects will be water and sewer fund, which is paid by users, Bettenhausen said. Sewer improvements will save money in the long run, the village, Trustee Greg Hannon said, because it is cheaper to replace than repair.

Just when you thought couldn't get more diverse T in the Park, festival boss Geoff Ellis is said to be in talks with Creative Scotland about bringing opera singers and ballet dancers to T in the Park 2011. According to the Sunday Herald, Ellis is keen to add a new dimension to next year’s event by signing up Scotland’s five national performing companies to take part. The National Theatre of Scotland, Scottish Chamber Orchestra, Royal Scottish National Orchestra, Scottish Ballet and Scottish Opera have been warned that they should expect budget cuts of up to 10 per cent. A slot at T in the Park could therefore provide a key platform to bring the arts to a much wider audience. Ellis said: “On music festivals the cuts might have a positive effect.“The companies might think, ‘how can we make up this shortfall, increase audience numbers, get to a wider market?’ T in the Park could be the prefect market for that.”Members of the respective companies are said to welcome the prospect of taking part in the festival that attracts over 85,000 revellers each year. Drug dealer jailed at T In The Park

At T in the Park a drug dealer who was caught with nearly £5000 worth of cocaine has been jailed for three and a half years. Gary Hume was sentenced to serve 42 months in prison after a jury found him guilty of supplying the class A drug at the music festival. Sheriff Michael Fletcher said he had no option but impose a custodial sentence on Hume and said the supply of drugs at T in the Park was a commonplace scourge. He said: "The courts have said regularly that the supply of Class A drugs should be treated seriously. The value of the drugs was over £4000 in this case. Furthermore, this took place at the T in the Park festival where great difficulty is experienced in relation to drugs of this and all sorts of other kinds."Hume was caught with a large haul of cocaine just minutes after arriving at the festival site and was also discovered with sex drug Viagra during a police raid. Perth Sheriff Court heard yesterday that Hume who had two close relatives die due to drug overdoses lived with his mother and has a girlfriend who suffered from agoraphobia. Hume - who claimed a Chinese drug dealer had given him cocaine by mistake when he tried to buy other drugs was found guilty of supplying the class A drug by a jury. The court heard how police officers, acting on a tip off, targeted Hume's camper van the moment it pulled into the car park at the Balado, Kinross, site. The court heard how around 15 officers swooped on Hume and his friends and during a search of the van found five bags of cocaine, diazepam, and a Viagra tablet. Drug squad officers told the court that the 96 grams of cocaine hidden in Hume's toiletry bag was worth £3500 pounds and could be further divided to have an ultimate value of £4818. Hume told the court that he believed it was speed he was buying from a Chinese drug dealer in Glasgow for £200. He said he could not explain why the dealer accidentally gave him nearly £5000 pounds worth of cocaine instead.Hume, 29, of Wallacewell Road, Glasgow, was found guilty of supplying cocaine during last year's T in the Park on July 10. He was also found guilty of possessing diazepam.

HUNDREDS of people attended a service to bid farewell to an Aberdeenshire man who died at T in the Park.
The family and friends of David Catto, 24, celebrated his life at Portlethen Parish Church after he died following an apparent asthma attack at T in the Park earlier this month.
The Rev John Watson said electrical designer Mr Catto, of Newtonhill, had lived his life to the full, “achieving much and touching many”.
The Small Faces track All Or Nothing was played, which Mr Watson said reflected the way Mr Catto, pictured, had lived.
Among the mourners was T in the Park arranger Geoff Ellis who has been in close contact with Mr Catto’s family since his death.
Mr Catto was laid to rest with memorabilia from favourite artists he never got to look at T in the Park.
His parents, David and Margaret, both 53, sister Elaine 28, and brother Bobby, 27, thanked everyone for the support they have had since David’s death.

AN 18 year old T In The Park reveller was raped in the back of a van after being abducted from the campsite, it was revealed last night.
The girl was lured into the motor by at least two men and was driven off before one of the fiends sexually assaulted her.
One source claimed the kidnappers who'd earlier chatted with their victim thumped on the outside of the vehicle in a sickening bid to drown out her tortured screams.
The traumatised girl was later dumped at a spot near the festival venue at Balado, Kinross, on Sunday night.
Yesterday, a sickened relative of the victim, from Glasgow, said: "I hope they catch the b******* who did this.
"The poor girl is bruised and distressed. She has been to hospital for tests and she's spoken to the police.
"She is struggling to come to terms with what's happened."
The girl had arrived at the site with a group of pals on Friday, while her sister was also at the music bash.
Her relative added: "She was there with friends but she was separated from them and she met up with some young men that she'd talked to earlier on.
"Her pals were going to one gig and she was wanting to go to another one, and that's when she was taken advantage of."Last night a spokesman for Tayside police said: "Inquiries into this matter are ongoing."
The festival had also been marred by another sex attack and two murder bids.
Cops are hunting a man behind a vile assault on a woman in her 20s on Saturday night.
On Tuesday, three men appeared at Perth Sheriff Court accused of stabbing two revellers at the festival on July 11.
Joseph Lindsay, 25, Robert Lindsay, 23, and John Dorfman, 22, all of Glasgow, were charged with attempting to murder Nicholas Gallacher, 20, and Robert Hynds, 20, from Fife.
Dorfman faces a third charge of punching Mark Bell in the face. None of the three defendants made a plea or declaration and the case was continued.
The two injured men were said to be in a "stable" condition in Dundee's Ninewells Hospital.
Meanwhile, a 19 year old man needed brain surgery after falling 6ft from a flagpole at T In The Park on Sunday.

Tayside Police have arrested three people in relation to two attempted murders at T In The Park at the weekend (July 11). The arrests were made after police found two 20 year old men suffering from "serious abdominal injuries" close to the campsite at the Balado, Kinross festival on Sunday night. The injured men are still in Ninewells Hospital, Dundee, where they remain in a serious but stable condition. Event Commander Chief Superintendent Craig Suttie explained: "Our enquiries into a serious incident in which two men were seriously injured are ongoing and I would appeal for witnesses to come forward and assist us."Police have also appealed for information regarding a separate incident that occurred on the site at roughly 10pm (BST) on Saturday (July 10), when a woman was injured and sexually assaulted near to the bus parking area. Police are looking to speak to a man described as white, heavily built, with dark shaved hair and wearing a long-sleeved dark top in relation to the incident. A further incident at the festival saw a 19 year old man badly injured after falling six feet from a flagpole on the Sunday night. The man sustained head injuries and has since undergone neurosurgery at Ninewells Hospital, where he remains in a critical condition. As previously reported, a 24 year old man also died on the site on Friday night in a separate incident. Festival organiser Geoff Ellis described the incidents as "very unfortunate", but praised the efforts of the on site health and safety teams, as well as the 450 police deployed to the site. Ellis said, "The quality of our event management team, the emergency services' work and on site medical care has once again been outstanding".

At T In The Park a music fan died last night (July 9), police have confirmed. 24 year old David Catto, from Stonehaven, collapsed while on his way from the main arena to the campsite. Police officers attempted to resuscitate him, though they were unsuccessful and he was pronounced dead at the scene. Tayside Police said Catto's family had visited the site, in Balado, Kinross, in the early hours of the morning, and were now being comforted. A post mortem is due to be carried out next week. A T In The Park spokesperson told NME that police investigations into Catto's death were ongoing. The music festival has this year launched a new initiative called Citizen T, encouraging campers to look our for their neighbours while on site. The three day festival will this year look upwards of 85,000 music fans attend to watch the likes of Kasabian, Eminem and Jay-Z over the weekend.

KASABIAN warmed up for their T in the Park headline set with a storming gig at a festival in the Polish city of Gdansk.
But the rockers revealed that their European tour has become such a blur that they have to print the name of the country at the top of their set list to keep track of where they are.
The Leicester band have had a hectic schedule of playing festivals and gigs throughout Europe but admit they can't wait to top the bill at T in the Park this weekend.
I caught up with the lads at the Open'er music festival in Poland.

Currently voted Europe's best major festival, Open'er also featured performances from Skunk Anansie and Ellie Goulding, who are both in the T in the Park line up.
Relaxing with the band backstage at the festival, Kasabian's guitarist and songwriter Serge Pizzorno admitted: "We flew into Poland this evening but if it didn't have the name of the country written at the top of the set list we wouldn't know where we are.
"It doesn't matter and I kind of like it like that. We are just here to play a show.
"Sometimes you don't know what day it is. It's a bubble.
"You've got to be built for touring as much as we do. If you're not built for it, it's over. The touring life is not for everyone. You've got to be wired up that way."
They'll have no such problems at T in the Park this weekend as Kasabian have been counting down to their prestigious main stage gig which will round o the festival in style.
They'll be performing directly after Jay-Z and before the reworks signal the end of the event, which gets under way at Balado, near Kinross on Friday.
Kasabian frontman Tom Meighan said: "T in the Park will be the first festival headliner for us and we can't wait because it is going to be amazing."
Serge added: "At T in the Park, you've got Muse, Eminem and Kasabian. If you are into music, you can't argue with that. It's going to be incredible whatever you're into."
At the Open'er festival, Kasabian gave the Razz an exclusive preview of their show.
They played a one-and-a-half-hour set on Saturday night for 60,000 ecstatic Polish fans, opening with Fast Fuse as frontman Tom asked the crowd: "Poland, how are you?"
Next up were Shoot The Runner, Underdog, Where Did All the Love Go? and Swarfiga.
They also belted out favourites including Cut O , Reason Is Treason and Mothman before thick As thieves, Take Aim and Empire.
The rockers' full on assault continued with Doberman, Stunt, Club Foot, Fire, Vlad The Impaler and LSF.
Kasabian also previewed a number of tracks from their forthcoming new album, which is due out in September.
It's been a fantastic year so far for them, winning Best British group at the Brits, Best British Album for West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum at the NME awards and Best Song for Fire at the Mojo awards.
But even with all those accolades, frontman Tom says the band's slot ahead of Jay-Z at T in the Park is a huge step for them.
He has nothing but praise for the rapper, who caused controversy by becoming the first hip-hop act to headline Glastonbury.
Tom said: "From doing that one Glastonbury gig he is now seen as a festival act, so fair play. He's going on before us. It's quite nice because we were his support act at a festival the other night. He is cool."
Meanwhile, Serge has admitted he is on cloud nine with the news that he and his girlfriend are expecting their first child.
He said: "I feel great. I'm looking forward to being a dad. e baby is due in September.
"I am buzzing and I am also looking forward to stopping worrying about myself.
"I am pretty cool about it and will carry on as before. I'll always be on tour. I'll be writing music through everything." Skunk Anansie also looked on top form in Gdansk at the festival which is held in a former airfield.
Singer Skin crowd surfed during their most famous hit single Weak.
She told the audience: "We haven't been in Poland for 10 years. It's absolutely incredible to be back."
And judging by the reaction of the crowd, the Balado audience will be in for a treat.

Chart topping Editors play T in the Park for the fourth time on Friday 9th July as part of the Line up Main stage, fresh from supporting Snow Patrol at their Bellahouston Park show in Glasgow.
One of Scotland's hottest bands, Frightened Rabbit, will play the King Tut's Wah Wah Tent on Saturday 10th July. With their star in the ascendancy, the band currently played a string of sold out shows and performed on 'Late Night With Jimmy Fallon' in the US.
Young Liverpudlian singer songwriter Delta Maid will perform her modern take on the blues when the artist makes her T in the Park debut, opening the Radio 1/NME Stage on Sunday 11th July.
The home of traditional Scottish music at T in the Park returns with the Ceilidh Tent, as this year mixes it up with Ceilidh acts of a traditional style performing alongside those with a contemporary take on the Scottish institution.
The Saturday 10th July line-up consists of Dunregan, Galik Bred, Skerryvore and Grousebeater Sound System, while Sunday 11th July includes Koda, Canongate Cadjers, Whiskey Kiss and The Big Shoogle.
Fancy Dress Friday will also return for the third year as festival goers are encouraged to get into the spirit of 'The Madder Hatters T Party', with Stetsons and sombreros, bonnets and boaters, panamas and porkpies the order of the day.

T In The Park the View are set to play warm up gig ahead of this year's festival (July 9-11). Exciting new additions added to T In The Park

Several more acts have been added to the T in the Park bill today (Thursday) including Canadian four piece Billy Talent, Lissie, who is due to release her debut album next month, and Daisy Dares You. All will appear on the T Break Stage along with Matthew P and White Belt Yellow Tag who will play on the Friday (9 July) whilst Astral Planes, Sparrow and the Workshop and Twisted Wheel will perform on Saturday (10 July).

Closing the stage on Sunday (11 July) will be A Band Called Quinn, Alex Gardner, Midnight Lion and Eliza Doolittle.

With just 42 days until the event the line-up already includes huge names such as Carl Cox, Bombay Bicycle Club, Laura Marling, Calvin Harris, David Guetta, Madness, The Prodigy, The Temper Trap along with Faithless, and Biffy Clyro.

Muse, Eminem and Kasabian will headline this year’s festival.

Alicia Keys has tipped Jay Z to be a huge hit at this summer's T in the Park festival.

The R&B superstar says her hip hop pal, who faced controversy when he headlined Glastonbury two years ago, will have no problems when he heads to Balado in July.

Alicia, who sings on Jay-Z's Empire State Of Mind records, believes his headline slot will thrill the festival's 85,000 crowd.

She said: "Jay-Z is wonderful, so it's going to go great at T in the Park.

"Come on man, he has been in the business a long time and he has great songs and I know the people there are looking forward to him coming."

Jay-Z last headlined a festival in the UK at Glastonbury in 2008. His inclusion on the bill provoked a furious reaction from Noel Gallagher.

The former Oasis guitarist criticised the decision to go for a hip hop act from the US instead of a British guitar act.

Gallagher moaned: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it. If you start to break it then people aren't going to go.

"I'm sorry, but Jay-Z? No chance." Despite his objection, Jay-Z went on to prove a highlight at Britain's biggest festival.

Alicia, 29, whose mum Terri is part-Scottish and part-Italian-Irish, insists he will come all guns blazing to Scotland.

He joins a line-up that includes rapper Eminem, rockers Muse, Black Eyed Peas and Kasabian.

She insists the only person that would make the bill better is ex-Eurythmics star Annie Lennox.

"Annie Lennox is amazing," she said. "I love her so much. She is a beautiful human being and is so special. She is just phenomenal."

Alicia now wants to find fans who will accompany her to Africa for the Keep A Child Alive foundation, of which she is a global ambassador.

She said: "Keep A Child Alive is about providing the medicine for children and families who have AIDS and wouldn't be able to afford the medicine, especially in places like Africa, and we are moving into India.

"We are taking five people who text the word Alive to 90999 with me to Africa when I go so they can experience what I did."

Alicia has sold 30 million records and won 12 Grammy Awards since her 2001 debut album, Songs In A Minor. She plays Glasgow's SECC on May 23.
